IT is quite possibly the worst job in the Midlands. It is certainly a dirty job but somebody has to do it. And that somebody is Vikki Allwood and her small team of animal welfare officers at Birmingham City Council. Their mission is to collect 250 samples of dog mess from park litter bins, bag them up and send them to a laboratory for a national survey of parasites and worms.
