In this clip from Newsweek’s 2012 Oscar Roundtable the actors discuss the odd jobs they held before they became famous. Michael Fassbender was a bartender in London. Charlize Theron was a model and ballerina. And George Clooney sold women’s shoes. Clooney tells the gruesome details in this clip.

Oh alright i got you ….i jus re-read your comment…my bad lol

no I don’t. I just think, long-term, he was fortunate that he did not have success at a young age.
new site
You think he had a hard life??
new site
always think that Clooney is who he is because he had a life before being famous, I think he was 34 when he started ER, I have heard him even say that if he was 19 or 20 with this kind of fame he would not have made it. The years brought him a humility and a perspective missing from many young Hollywood flameouts.

fassbender is so engrossed in everything george is saying XD

He really needs to let the Batman thing go. It was more a reflection of Schumacker’s direction of the film, not Clooney’s acting.

Love how George is talking and they’re all just hanging on his every word….. 😉

My god, tilda’s eyes are insanely green!
new site
Shut up george clooney
new site
I thought you when you meant by “Clooney’s worst job” I thought he was gonna say something like “being Batman”
new site
This whole roundtable is just clooney and supporting acts. The guy’s ego is crazy.

Full Interview ? 🙁
new site
yes you are right …. errr i mean you are totally wrong … watch leno or letterman for a week and tell me the stories they tell are true … Bill Scheft (one of lettermans writers) said in an interview that a lot of stuff is made up and the actor runs with it and they banter back and forth … do you really think french stewart skateboarded in L.A. naked??? thats just one of his fake stories
new site
Leno and Letterman most definitely rehearse interviews with their guests, cherry-pick stories that would be funny, come up with jokes and set-up lines and segues to make them entertaining and to help the flow of the “conversation”, and put them into a specific order to perfectly line up with commercial breaks. But the stories themselves are quite true, generally.

i have few idols, and these people are none of them. Just asking what your point was. isn’t it good when an ambiguous statement is challenged?
new site
jesus fucking christ … its prewritten by the people that made this show …. do you really believe every fucking story your idol spits out of his fucking pie hole ?? why does it matter you stupid fucking cunt??? leave me alone you annoying fucking retarded cumslut
new site
preplanned and prewritten by who? does that make it fake? i’m confused. If I preplan and prewrite a true story that happened to me, and then perform it, is it a fake story?
new site
…it was preplanned and prewritten …its a fake story … i dont care if you believe it or not ..its just the facts
new site
just cuz it’s preplanned that they will tell a certain story doesn’t make it fake….
new site
…on leno and letterman they write stories to help these people seem funnier and more down to earth… he told a fake story and that half man “tilda” played along …feeding him and his story .. its a fake story and he sounds interesting … and you are happy
new site
What do you mean? He told a fake story?
new site
even if its a fake story??
