After graduating from Alcorn State University, I spent a year working various jobs because we were in a recession and jobs in my field were hard to come by. Without a doubt, I landed the worst job I’ve ever had in the De Beukelaer Cookie Factory! I was also a perfume spray girl and it was a close second. I don’t count it because that only lasted till lunch time day one and I quit. Working in the cookie factory was like the episode of I Love Lucy when she and Ethel worked in the candy factory! I think I lasted a couple of weeks before I quit! I learned to respect the laborers of the world. Those jobs are hard and they are expected to produce results.

Wow. The things we do for love. It only took you 3 weeks to realize, oh no, this is not for me.

LOL picturing you being overwhelmed by the cookies. My worst job ever was when I worked at a sewing factory in Turbeville, SC the summer after my freshman year. My boyfriend at the time was from Sumpter, SC and I just couldn’t stand to be away from him for a WHOLE summer. Well, 3 weeks later I was in ATL chilling with my best friend until fall semester started. LOL!

Thank you for watching. I knew that laborious, physical work was not for me. I’m eternally grateful that I had options.
I call them Afro puffs too.
I had been scrambling to find something to “mark” my videos with for watermarking purposes. I was so happy to finally get a QR code.
